"I think with Meghan and the position that she's in, it's just another fantastic reminder, a wake-up to everybody, that we are all one people and it's a fantastic breath of fresh air to the English royal family", fashion and celebrity photographer Alexi Lubomirski told CNN.
A photo from the royal wedding that some are calling "Princess Diana's view" has captured the world's heart, and now the photographer responsible for the shot is telling all.
"I said just before you go in, let's sit down on these stairs, and she just slumped in between his legs".
"One word that I really kept throwing around in my head was "familial", because when we did the engagement pictures and you got the sense that they were together, that black and white picture when they were really embracing and hugging, and you felt that love", he said.
"His enthusiasm and energy are truly infectious; it has certainly inspired William and I to get involved in issues we care passionately about and to do whatever we can to make a difference". Dealing with ten young bridesmaids and pageboys in no easy feat, so it's no wonder Alexi used a little bribery to help ideal the pictures.
A royal wedding guest who was fortuitously seated right behind George and Charlotte's nanny, Maria Teresa Turrion Borrallo, told People: "I was sitting right in front of [Maria] and she was bribing the youngest bridesmaid with [TV show] Peppa Pig and Smarties, which was quite amusing".
Yanny or Laurel? Soundbite sparks internet din Users can manipulate the slider to the left, until they hear Laurel .or move the slider to the right to hear Yanny . While there's not a clear answer of what the word is in the recording, it all depends how you look at - or hear it.
While it may seem like the children Meghan Markle and Prince Harry chose for their bridesmaids and page boys were born with the ability to pose perfectly in front a camera, their wedding photographer Alexi Lubomirski told People that even the most royal of children aren't easy to reel in.
The images were taken at Windsor Castle following the carriage procession.
The souvenir item was offered to "community champions" invited into the grounds of Windsor Castle to celebrate the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's marriage on Saturday.
Mr Lubomirski said he only had 25 minutes to do six set-ups for the family photos, which included four pageboys and six flower girls.
The service reflected the diversity of modern Britain and the royal couple said they are feeling "so lucky" to have shared their big day with the thousands gathered in Windsor.
"Their Royal Highnesses are delighted with these official portraits taken by Alexi Lubomirski and are happy to be able to share them".
Lubomirski was chosen after he photographed the couple on their engagement in a series of stark images released in December.
