It is Damien Chazelle's second film working with Gosling.

That's the pitch for Ryan Gosling's latest cinematic adventure as the versatile actor steps into the especially famous shoes of Neil Armstrong; the first man to walk on the surface of the moon. However, on viewing the trailer [VIDEO] of "First Man", it is clear that Armstrong went through some terrifying and uncertain days, training for his mission to the moon. The film, which teams up Gosling with his La La Land director Damien Chazelle follows Armstrong's incredible journey to becoming the first person to walk on the Moon in 1969.

The two-minute trailer shows Gosling's Armstrong grappling with the complexities of executing "one of the most unsafe missions in history" and the mission's personal impact on his anxious wife, played by Claire Foy, and their young sons.

It shows the growing severity of the issue

Armstrong". Also starring Corey Stoll (House of Cards) as Buzz Aldrin and Claire Foy (The Queen), as Armstrong's first wife Janet Shearon, the film will be released on October 12.
