It will take place at The Chapel Royal, St James's Palace, London - the same place Prince George was also christened.

The announcement of Prince Louis' christening was made today on Twitter by Kensington Palace.

It falls neatly between the potential quarter-final and semi-final dates for England, should the national team progress that far in the competition.

It's been a big year for Welby, who also presided over the royal wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle last month.

"If you look back at the birth of Princess Charlotte, she was born on May 2 and her christening was July 5", said Jess Ilse, editorial assistant at the Royal Central.

Get ready to see more of Prince Louis! The service for Prince Louis, who is fifth-in-line to the throne, will be conducted by the Archbishop of Canterbury and the Most Reverend Justin Welby, who baptised George and Charlotte.

Princess Charlotte was two-months-old.

With Prince Louis' christening soon to be out of the way, Kate could well fully return to the public eye.

After giving birth to Prince Louis on the 23rd April, Kate's first official public appearance was the wedding of the new Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

The first look at him was on the steps of St Mary's Hospital when William and Kate showed him off to the world hours after his birth, and the second glimpse was in two photos released to make Princess Charlotte's third birthday in May.
