Rep. Jordan Says Ohio State Claims 'Choreographed' by Dems
Ohio State University Investigators Interview Jim Jordan

Two class-action lawsuits filed this week by former wrestlers claim Ohio State University turned a blind eye to a doctor's alleged sexual abuse of student athletes.
The law firm investigating allegations that a late Ohio State University physician sexually abused students has documentation about at least one incident that prompted a complaint to a student health center official in the 1990s.
Ohio State first announced the investigation into Strauss in April, stemming from allegations of sexual abuse during his time as a team physician for the university's wrestling team. But most of the universities he listed as former employers won't say if they're reviewing either potential connections or whether concerns were raised about him.
Some of the accusers have claimed that US Rep. Jim Jordan of OH - an OSU assistant wrestling coach between 1987 and 1995 - knew about the abuse but did nothing. Strauss killed himself in 2005. "I'm glad that Jim is committed to working with the investigators to see that the full truth comes out and justice is served".
The lawsuit claims OSU is culpable in part because an "appropriate person" of OSU, including but not limited to former athletic director and assistant university vice president Andy Geiger and former head wrestling coach Russell Hellickson, "had actual and/or constructive notice of sexual assault, battery, molestation, and harassment committed by Dr. Strauss".
The lawsuit says the university didn't take action or agree to move the team's practices following that meeting.
Mulvin said he and the other wrestlers talked about Strauss' odd behavior but they never told the coaches.

Steve Snyder-Hill, an Ohio State graduate, said he filed a complaint with the school in the mid 1990s after he went to the health center for a bump on his chest. They include students who, at the time, were varsity players in 14 sports and patients of Student Health Services.
The suit said the wrestlers offered drawings of potential changes to the wrestling and gymnastics locker room that would enhance safety, but Ohio State did nothing.
Jordan had said he would cooperate with investigators and that victims deserve justice if abuse occurred.
Like more than a half-dozen other former OSU athletes interviewed by The Washington Post, he said Strauss's physical examinations made him feel uncomfortable, but he did not believe at the time that it rose to the level of abuse.
Each of the former wrestlers in the case was sexually assaulted by Strauss in some way, the lawsuit said.
