"We need peace in Afghanistan but Pakistan will not fight others' war (in the neighbouring country)", the prime minister told the students at his office on Friday.

"Thanks (God) that today, the same people who were asking to do more are now asking us to help them in Afghanistan, to establish peace and to negotiate", he said.

Recently, the efforts by US to facilitate the peace talks between the afghan government and the Taliban have increased for which, the US Special Envoy for Afghanistan Reconciliation visited Kabul for the third time on Tuesday. It not only cost us human lives, the devastation of areas bordering Afghanistan, but it also cost us our dignity.

"The ruling party (in India) has an anti-Muslim, anti-Pakistan approach", said Khan in an interview to the Washington Post on Thursday when asked why his gestures to India were dismissed since he took power earlier this year. "And yet Pakistan was asked to participate in the U.S. war", he said. "Already, we have investors coming into Pakistan", he said.

"Apart from Afghanistan it is Pakistan", Ambassador Lodhi said, "that has endured the greatest suffering and damage from the strife, violence and instability in Afghanistan".
