Second child dies in custody – U.S. immigration authorities

The boy was released just before 3 p.m., about 90 minutes after he had been found to have a fever of 39.4 C, CBPsaid. It was the second such death this month.
"I'm deeply saddened by the death of 8-year-old Felipe Alonzo-Gomez last night in U.S. Customs and Border Protections (CBP) custody and offer my condolences to his family", Rep.
