President Trump Embraces American Flag Before CPAC Speech

Why the Mueller Report Will Not End Donald Trump's Predicament Donald Trump predicts he'll be re-elected in 2020 with increased majority

House Democrats are undertaking several broad new investigations that reach far beyond Mr Mueller's focus on Russian interference in the 2016 election and possible collusion between Russians and the Trump campaign.

The chairman of the House committee in charge of impeachment has revealed the panel is requesting documents from more than 60 people from Trump's administration, family and business as part of a rapidly expanding Russian Federation investigation.

But dealing with the probe's conclusions will be a delicate dance for Democrats, said a half-dozen Republican, Democratic and independent strategists and analysts. "I think it's really something that [the Democrats] should promote".

He said House Democrats made a sizable mistake by calling Michael Cohen to testify the same day Trump was attempting to make peace with North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un.

The committee is reopening and expanding an investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election that the Republican majority closed past year.

The letter includes questions that look at possible corrupt practices, obstruction of justice, hush-money payments to women, collusion with Russian Federation during the 2016 elections and allegations of the President abusing his office and using it for personal gain.

House Judiciary Chairman Jerry Nadler said Sunday on ABC News's "This Week" that he believes that Trump obstructed justice. He also alleged that the Trump Organization regularly and illegally inflated the value of its assets to obtain bank loans, and accused his former boss of misusing charity funds.

He touched on the topic of the investigation by special counsel Robert Mueller.

Williams was interviewed Thursday by The Daily Signal at CPAC.

"Show me where the president did anything to be impeached.Nadler is setting the framework now that the Democrats are not to believe the Mueller report", he said.

"Those people are seizing onto Cohen's use of the word 'directly, '" Leopold said of criticism of his report.

Trump told the audience Saturday that Williams "took a hard punch in the face for all of us".

The committee's jurisdiction touches on all parts of government.

The president went after the numerous ongoing inquiries against him for changing the goalposts just to try to get something on him. Last Tuesday, the committee voted to subpoena administration officials over family separations at the southern border. "Investigating these threats to the rule of law is an obligation of Congress and a core function of the House Judiciary Committee". Nadler has helped lead the charge to pressure the Justice Department to release the full report to the public. The same forces within the GOP base that protect Trump from removal could work against the party if congressional investigators continue to expose Trump's criminal and otherwise objectionable actions.

Michael Cohen's testimony on Capitol Hill last week is still irking President Donald Trump. The Committee wants the responses to its questions within two weeks.

One person the USA president didn't mention in his two-hour CPAC speech was his former personal lawyer, Michael Cohen, who testified before several congressional committees this week where he called Trump a "con man" and "racist".
